Freedom to Fascism

Please visit http://www.freedomtofascism.com to purchase the DVD.

This is the "Director's Final Cut" authorized version of Aaron Russo's documentary, America: Freedom To Fascism (AFTF). It is being uploaded to Google Video for the first time during the evening of October 19-20th, 2006. Aaron has listened to everyone's feedback - volunteers, students, lovers of freedom & liberty, young and old alike - and, true to his word, he is putting this up "for free" on Google Video knowing that the hour has come for Americans to either be awakened to restore the Republic or be swept aside by the dark global forces of fascism that seeks to enslave mankind.

AFTF's main focus comes in a statement with six very simple words: SHUT DOWN THE FEDERAL RESERVE SYSTEM!!

The Money Masters Video

The powers of financial capitalism had a far-reaching plan, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private ... all » hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole...Their secret is that they have annexed from governments, monarchies, and republics the power to create the world's money..."

THE MONEY MASTERS is a 3 1/2 hour non-fiction, historical documentary that traces the origins of the political power structure that rules our nation and the world today. The modern political power structure has its roots in the hidden manipulation and accumulation of gold and other forms of money. The development of fractional reserve banking practices in the 17th century brought to a cunning sophistication the secret techniques initially used by goldsmiths fraudulently to accumulate wealth. With the formation of the privately-owned Bank of England in 1694, the yoke of economic slavery to a privately-owned "central" bank was first forced upon the backs of an entire nation, not removed but only made heavier with the passing of the three centuries to our day. Nation after nation, including America, has fallen prey to this cabal of international central bankers.

Your Magazine Archive Online

I was thumbing through an old copy of Texas Monthly the other day at work and found a nice article on popular hiking destinations. At the website, I learned that only members got access to online articles. Now, I live for these sorts of online challenges, so a couple seconds of googling later, I dug up this site: AccessMyLibrary

Jackpot!

This website has tons of text information from many popular magazines you'd find if you were to walk into your local public library. This is one of the best reference sources I've found in a while.

My New Favorite TV Show

Being the documentary junkie that I am, I was glued to our local-channels-only TV set last night at the discovery of a program new to me--Frontline (on PBS). This show rocks! So does their website.

On last night's episode, there was a story on the Afghanistan war followed by a show on person-to-person loans that were both excellent. The companion website lets you "drill down" with more info and online links, plus you can re-view the video from the program, if you'd like. (It takes a couple of days for the videos to post.) I guess I have a lot of catching up to do now! I wonder if this is available on iTunes...

Fix: USB flash drives won't get assigned a letter in Win XP

I've run into this problem recently at work, where users have numerous network drives mapped to their computer. The flash drives are recognized by the computer, but fail to show up in the drive list under My Computer.

The solution I've found is (with the USB flash drive inserted into a USB port) to use "Manage" under the My Computer "Preferences" right-click menu and then click the Manage Drives icon to bring up the computer drives. Right click on the band that relates to the USB drive and pull down to where it lets you assign a new letter. Try to assign a letter you're not going to need later on.

That's pretty much it. I'm not sure why some drives have this problem and some don't. I have noticed that the drives that have run into problems are formatted with the FAT file system, so this could have something to do with this issue. I hope this is helpful to someone out there. Comments would be appreciated, too.
