Keith Obermann gets owned

I'm diggin' this Matt Crowder guy from PJTV. If you've never seen Keith Olbermann --Obama's #2 fanboy behind Chris "thrill up my leg" Matthews--then you probably won't be able to appreciate this much. Still, worth a chuckle.

Don't Believe the Elitist Media Lies About Ron Paul

The "greatest hits" of media BS about Ron Paul. Right here, one can see why the US media is worthless. Thank God for the Internet!

Ron Paul Support is a Conspiracy, claims National Media

Major media outlets have denied fund raising reports, rally attendance, and record breaking internet support as the work of a small secretive group of Ron Paul supporters conspiring to defraud the public. Is it time for them to give up this conspiracy theory before they lose credibility?

Bush planned Iraq invasion days after taking office in 2001

The invasion of Iraq was planned long before 9-11 according to Paul O'Neill, former Secretary of the Treasury under George Bush. In this 60 Minutes interview (aired in 2004), the author of "The Price of Loyalty" gives startling testimony to the pre-meditated plan for nation-building in Iraq. This proves that the war was illegitimate and aggressive.

Mainstream Media turns on Rudy Giuliani

Rudy Giuliani
Despite being named Time Magazine's Person of the Year for 2001, the 09-03-07 issue of the mag does a pretty good job trashing America's favorite victim. Accounts of the ex-mayor's popularity open and close the article, but the bulk of the piece is essentially an evisceration of Giuliani's campaign, purported foreign affairs experience and qualifications to be the next U.S. President. If he were an opening show on Broadway and this were a review, they'd be packing it in right about now. Read the article at TIME.com. [Photo above from www.robbieconal.com.]

FaUX News Redefines Journalism

"Fair and Balanced" sounds more like Newspeak than "news speak" when it comes to the Fox News Channel. Way to go, Keith Olbermann!

Newsweek predicted Rudy McRomney would be hurt by pro-war stance

This story is almost 6 months old, but speaks volumes in common sense. Most Americans are against the war, but yet the Republican "front-runners", like lemmings, follow the advice of their political advisers. It shows most candidates are too afraid to run based on their own convictions. Note: The Ron Paul candidacy hadn't gone official at the time.

My New Favorite TV Show

Being the documentary junkie that I am, I was glued to our local-channels-only TV set last night at the discovery of a program new to me--Frontline (on PBS). This show rocks! So does their website.

On last night's episode, there was a story on the Afghanistan war followed by a show on person-to-person loans that were both excellent. The companion website lets you "drill down" with more info and online links, plus you can re-view the video from the program, if you'd like. (It takes a couple of days for the videos to post.) I guess I have a lot of catching up to do now! I wonder if this is available on iTunes...

Must-see TV!

OUTFOXED is a great documentary on Rupert Murdoch's Fox News Channel and it's strong right-wing bent. Instead of "News", one could substitute the word "Neo-Conservative" and it would be a more accurate acronym. Watch the whole movie here.
