Revisiting the Documentary "Spin"

Going through some old YouTube videos, I saw a reference to this video, which is provided on Google Video in its entirety. From the description:
Using the 1992 presidential election as his springboard, documentary filmmaker Brian Springer captures the behind-the-scenes maneuverings of politicians and newscasters in the early 1990s. Pat Robertson banters about "homos," Al Gore learns how to avoid abortion questions, George Bush talks to Larry King about halcyon -- all presuming they're off camera. Composed of 100% unauthorized satellite footage, Spin is a surreal expose of media-constructed reality.

My New Favorite TV Show

Being the documentary junkie that I am, I was glued to our local-channels-only TV set last night at the discovery of a program new to me--Frontline (on PBS). This show rocks! So does their website.

On last night's episode, there was a story on the Afghanistan war followed by a show on person-to-person loans that were both excellent. The companion website lets you "drill down" with more info and online links, plus you can re-view the video from the program, if you'd like. (It takes a couple of days for the videos to post.) I guess I have a lot of catching up to do now! I wonder if this is available on iTunes...

The pleasure of finding things out - Richard Feynman

I've heard so much about this guy that I've got to screen this one. 40 min documentary interview with Dr. RP Feynman- one of the greatest physicist of our times and a Nobel Laureate. Specially uploaded for students of NSIT. To download it, click here.

If that doesn't work, try this link.

Jeff Buckley - Documentary From BBC

A very talented artist who was taken from us way to early! You can download this to view on your iPod or computer here.

The Power of Nightmares-Great BBC Documentary

Great 3-part documentary (3 hours total) about the illusion of terror and politics. This gives the best explanation and history I've seen yet of the rise of neoconservatism and radical Islam. This may cause you to re-think a lot of what's going on in the middle-east!
The Power of Nightmares I: Baby It's Cold Outside.
The Power of Nightmares Part 2: The Phantom Victory
The Power of Nightmares Part 3: The Shadows in the Cave

9/11 Mysteries (Full Length, High Quality)

This is a brand new public domain 9/11 Truth documentary about the controlled demolition of the World Trade Center complex. It's excellent. Pass this link on!

TerrorStorm (911, London, Madrid Bombings, Conspiracy)

The long-awaited arrival of Alex Jones' latest trend-setting documentary has arrived! TerrorStorm delivers a powerful sucker punch to the architects of global terrorism and how they stage false-flag events to achieve political and sociological ends.

Alex journeys from the depths of history from the Gulf of Tonkin, the USS Liberty and Gladio through to the Madrid and 7/7 London bombings and robustly catalogues the real story behind the government induced fable.

This film contains viable solutions on how we can reclaim human dignity and freedom and prevent the global population from becoming the slaves of a prison planet.

Download or purchase the video at http://www.prisonplanet.com. (Hopefully, the quality is better than this version.) 83,000 views so far!

Computer Networks - The Heralds of Resource Sharing

A documentary film about the history of the ARPANET and birth of the Internet. But does it mention MySpace?

On the Edge of Blade Runner

Documentary on the Sci-Fi movie, Blade Runner

The Cow Whisperer

I found this video on Google Video. Temple Grandin has an amazing life story and has opened up the secret world of autism to millions. The movie spends a lot of time talking about autism and how this woman learned to cope with it.

Download it to your iPod and fire it up on your TV. Just make sure you don't buy the ripoff Apple video cable!
